Tilak Dias: Research Director
Dr Dias is a senior lecturer and Head of the William Lee Innovation Centre, School of Materials at the University of Manchester (UoM).
Tilak has been an academic within the field of textiles his entire working career and he is recognised as being one of the most reputable and leading authorities in textiles globally.
Tilak has published over 60 academic papers and he is named as the principal inventor in over 20 patents. He will continue as an academic at the University as well as acting as a Research director on the board of SmartLife®.
