Mark Pedley – CEO
Mark, aged 52, is a proven entrepreneur having founded or held senior executive positions in a wide range of businesses in a variety of sectors, including ICT and Internet Technologies, Fibers and Materials and Business Services. His experience includes the eventual disposal of two successful businesses realising shareholder value.
Mark has been Chief Executive officer of SmartLife since January 2003. He has been primarily responsible for securing the IPR in a venture with the University of Manchester, establishing the business, building the current team and securing the corporate investment from Asia Pacific, Merseyside Special Investment Fund and an Exceptional R&D award from North West Development Agency / DTI.
Mark brings invaluable experience to SmartLife of establishing, developing and commercialising new Technology in emerging sectors.
