2004  SmartLife core IP bought from The University of Manchester. 3 year Research and Development program commenced

2007  ‘disruptive’ prototypes proven - commercial optimization begun.

2008  Application specific engagement with corporations within Sport and Rehabilitation

2009  Monitoring within two ‘Patient Condition sectors’ (1 x Acute health and 1 x Chronic health) commenced under development licenses

2010  Business model to position technology with an 'open-access' commenced. This model positioning enables commercial partners to license SmartLife sensor know-how (known as softsensors®) plus, develop in partnership with SmartLife, application specific electronics and user interfaces, to innovate new, creative and unique market offerings for a range of applications. Summer ’10 , Two new application markets entered.

"Technology Innovation Award" offered to SmartLife by Frost & Sullivan.

 

2011 SmartLife softsensors® are deployed to date in 5 ‘top-line’ markets
